YouTube’s attack on Crypto & Free Speech? Here are 7 alternatives

Alternative to Youtube

Note: We have included an example at the end of this article that debunks the ‘hate speech’ cover up that YouTube uses to ban the videos. Don’t miss it.

Is YouTube attacking the crypto-tubers and people with alternative opinions?

Many say that it is.

For instance, we reported on YouTube’s ban on London Real’s David Icke’s interview. After that incident YouTube banned an interview with Dr. Judy Mikovits which was an outrageous attack on the right to speech.

It is not just us saying it. The President of the United States agrees with us.

Donald J. Trump on Twitter

The Radical Left is in total command & control of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google. The Administration is working to remedy this illegal situation. Stay tuned, and send names & events. Thank you Michelle! https://t.co/ZQfcfD3Hk9

While we cannot comment on whether these players are leaning left or right, we can say with confidence that they are in total control of what people consume digitally and they have become the moral police, however, what moralities are we being measured against?

When did a difference in opinion or being Pro-coiner become ‘hate speech’?

Certainly, YouTube is categorizing anything and everything that they don’t like under the ‘hate speech’ basket.

Attack on freedom of speech in the disguise of ‘policy’?

While YouTube is busy banning anyone who doesn’t stay in line, they are miserably failing at stopping the spammers. In fact, YouTube is ‘promoting’ the spammer posts under the ‘recommended’ segment.

Dollar Vigilante’s video was initially banned for including the Canadian politician’s views on how Bill Gates is enslaving the world with his vaccination propaganda. Whether this is true or not is not really relevant. What is relevant is that people should be able to post what they want to as long as they are not ‘instigating’ anything illegal or dangerous. Expressing views is not dangerous.

Videos on crypto education definitely are not dangerous or illegal, yet, YouTube has been religiously deleting videos of Crypto Tubers.  This is what Jeff Berwick’s channel received. However, YouTube changed its mind when backlash from the community erupted and their channel was restored.

You can’t even subscribe

Even when a channel is not banned, it could still be sent to oblivion by YouTube algorithm. For instance,  here is a video on how YouTube is making it impossible for people to subscribe to their favorite channels if those channels are not what YouTube likes.  Serious WTF moment.

Crypto and Free Speech under attack?

When we reported about London Real’s ban on YouTube people thought it was some click-bait. However, as things heated up, people realized how what they consume is controlled by deep pockets.

Can anyone take a class action against YouTube?  Unlikely.

YouTube probably will blame it on its ‘bots-algorithms’ and how it has rectified the situation as soon as it was brought to its notice.  Sure. What about the ‘subscribe’ glitch shown in the video?

How come that supposed glitch only happens with ‘certain’ type of videos and not others?

Is it time for alternatives? Here are 7

YouTube was not in existence a mere 1.5 decades ago and probably it’s time for people to look for alternatives. Alternatives that respect one’s privacy and right to speech. Here are few:

D.Tube

DtubeThe look and feel of DTube is similar to that of YouTube so the transition could be simpler. Obviously, this is our first pick as it is built on blockchain.

What is Dtube

Dailymotion

DailymotionSimple layout. Clean interface. Easy to use. youtube banning Dailymotion has been around for the same time period as YouTube (both born in 2005) and is a great alternative to YouTube.

Metacafe

Metacafe

Known for short videos (under 8 minutes), Metacafe has captured a niche of its own.

Veoh

Metacafe
Another simple alternative to YouTube. Limited selection if you are using Veoh to be entertained, however, if you are looking for an alternative to reach to your existing YouTube fan base – Veoh got you covered.

Lbry.tv

LBRY tvMany YouTubers have already started their alternative channels on Lbry just in case they get banned by YouTube. It is not a bad idea to have the content hosted on YouTube and Lbry as a backup. Lbry also pays users in crypto for the content.

Minds.com

minds.com

Free speech as the basic premise, Minds.com is pretty open to most content and users get minds.com tokens for their contribution.

Here is one example to ‘debunk’ YouTube’s ‘hate speech’ cover up

For all the anti-hate speech bullshite that YouTube is spewing, here is a video that was posted more than 2 years ago (that means, YouTube had enough time to remove it) where Dr. Carol Baker, M.D., Professor of Pediatrics, Molecular Virology and Microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, is proposing that we get rid of ‘Whites’ because they don’t like vaccinations. So, yeah, GREAT JOB YouTube on your hate speech control cover up.
